The unit of measurement for force is the 'Newton'. Sometimes expressed as 'N'.

The basic S.I. units that compose a Newton are kilogtams(kg), metres(m) and seconds(time)(s)

The mathematical composition of 1 Newton is 1 kilogram X 1 metre / (1 seconds X 1 second).

This is reduced to

1 N = 1 kg*m/s^(2)

NB THe Newton(N) is named in honour of Sir Isaac newton, he of gravity fame, who gave us the Laws of Universal Dynamics, which include 'force'.
