What is something interesting about the lower and or upper mantles?
Why is the temperature greater in the upper part of the stratosphere?
Asked in Chemistry
Why is there a lower limit to temperature but not an upper limit?
lower limit because the particles have zero energy. there is no upper limit because particles can move as fast as they like. There is an upper limit on temperature, called "Planck Temperature". It is approximately 1.42e32 Kelvin! This temperature is the maximum temperature something can attain, with the physics we understand.
Why is the temperature in the upper stratosphere is higher than the temperature in the lower stratosphere?
