59 should be 5/9 ie 5 divided by 9
Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) x 5/9
eg if Fahrenheit = 113 then
Celsius = (113-32) x 5/9
= 81 times 5 divided by 9 = 45 degrees celsius
I still think that for people who don't always have a calculator with them, taking the Celsius temperature as a percentage of 180 and adding 32 is easier to do in my head than dividing almost anything by 9 and multiplying it by 5.
For conversion between fahrenheit, celsius, rankin and kelvin use the following formulas: Fahrenheit = Celsius * 9 / 5 + 32 Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15 Rankine = Fahrenheit + 459.6

Start by taking the number in Celsius and multiply it by 9. Then divide that number by 5, and then add 32. This is how you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit or use the equation F = (9/5)C + 32In this case, the answer is about 37.4 degrees Fahrenheit.37.4 degrees Fahrenheit

Use this equation to convert degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC) to degrees Fahrenheit (ºF): [°F] = [°C] × 1.8 + 32
Use this formula to convert degrees Fahrenheit (F) to degrees Celsius (C): [°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5⁄9
You can make one yourself with Excel. Use the formula: Fahrenheit = Celsius x (9/5) + 32. Or just use the formula when you need it.
For conversion between fahrenheit, celsius, rankin and kelvin use the following formulas: Fahrenheit = Celsius * 9 / 5 + 32 Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15 Rankine = Fahrenheit + 459.6
Apply the Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion in revers: Multiply Celsius temperature with 9 and divide it by five. Then, add 32 = Fahrenheit temperature.
Use this equation to convert degrees Fahrenheit (ºF) to degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC): [°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5⁄9
Use this equation to convert degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC) to degrees Fahrenheit (ºF): (ºC x 1.8) + 32 = ºF
24ºF = -4.44ºCTip: Use this formula to convert degrees Fahrenheit (F) to degrees Celsius (C): [°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5⁄9
Use this equation to convert degrees Fahrenheit (ºF) to degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC): [°C] = ([°F] - 32) × 0.556
Use this equation to convert degrees Fahrenheit (ºF) to degrees Celsius/Centigrade (ºC): [°C] = ([°F] - 32) × 0.556
Temperature is easy to convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius yourself. You can use the formula Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32) where Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. -109 F is -78.3 C.
