The use of Ansys Software in Mechanical Engineering is to give an engineer the opportunity to see how their product would work in the real world. It is a software that expands the use of physics. It gains access to any form of engineering field someone may account in.
ansys is a modelling and finite element analysis software for civil, mechanical, electrical applications.
The ANSYS FLUENT Powerful Computational Fluid Dynamics Software is the tool you will have to use to analyze the rocker arm in ansys software.

I am a senior student in mechanical engineering I ve been looking for this answer for a long long time but i cannot even find a degree specialized in stress analysis So i guess that in order to become a stress analyst, you need to master: Mechanical Design Mechanics Strength of Materials Mechanics of Solid Also I suggest that you start using some mechanical design and stress analysis programs in order to be fully fonctional when you ll apply for a job CATIA/PRoE NASTRAN/ANSYS I ve been doing it with CATIA and ANSYS Of course i did not purchase the licence if you know what i mean (internet is a goldmine) ... Take care.
perhaps you should to contact directly whith ansys company.
for becoming a true mechanical design engineer, you require a solid foundation in Finite Element Method (FEM) and use ANSYS as a toolVaftsy CAE, is a quality institute, there you get training from Mr. Vinay Patil, who has done his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington.=Besides having an expert trainer the institute has a 1:1 computer to student ratio, a placement assistance program and for those desiring a higher education in USA, the institute also offers assistance==you can visit www.geocities.com/vaftsycae for further details==or mail to vaftsycae@yahoo.com=
