A Smart Board brand interactive white board can be connected to your computer two ways. 1) using a USB cable not totaling in length more than 16 feet with out a powered extender. This powers the board and communicates to the computer via the USB. 2) A blue tooth connection can transmit data from the board to the computer, but this option does need to be plugged into the wall.
