Food leaves your stomach and passes into your intestines.
The small intestine is where food is digested and absorbed. The small intestine varies in length and structure depending on the diet of the species. Carnivorous birds tend to have shorter, less complex small intestines. Herbivorous birds have longer, more developed small intestines. Enzymes, produced in the pancreas, break down proteins and fats in the small intestine.

Traditionally the intestines are used as sausage skins. However it is mostly synthetic skin used these days.
it plays an important role because the stones wind up the birds gizzard, a pace which helps to grind the birds food, before it reaches the intestines.
Birds use their tongues to taste, they use their beaks/ mouths to drink.
The birds in different shots were a mix of real birds and puppets.
