If either the TV or the DVD player breaks, will I have to replace the entire unit?
It depends, if the DVD breaks you can always attached a detachable DVD into the TV, however if the TV breaks then you will have to replace the entire unit. The unit is designed so that each component can operate seperatley,so if one malfunctions,the unit can still be used.
