Frets are used on the fingerboard of some stringed instruments. They are located to make it easier to play a specific note.
22 frets
Violas do not have frets. Nor do violins or cellos. Frets are found on stringed instruments such as guitars.
yes probably because i have a 20 fret and 24 fret bass and the frets on my 24 fret are much closer.also, on my 24 fret is says on the package:medium frets. and on the 20 fret has bigger frets so i presume that the 20 fret has "large frets"
No. Frets on Fire is a computer game that mimics Guitar Hero's play style. You can use the keyboard, or connect an Xbox 360 Guitar Hero controller (for some reason they're the only ones that are out-of-the-box compatible with Windows). The difference between Frets on Fire and Guitar Hero is that you can use your own music.
Frets on Fire happened in 2006.
Not all guitars have frets, however, it is probably best to learn using frets.
Frets closer to the bridge are the higher notes, frets closer to the headstock will give lower notes
It depends on the scale of the instrument, but the higher the frets are the closer they are together... no two frets are the same!
Frets on Fire was created on 2006-08-03.
Yes but metal frets will let the string resonate better
Cutaways are for reaching higher frets on the fingerboard. Acoustic (including classical) players don't really go to the higher frets "very often" because usually it wouldn't make much noise and sounds a bit weak. Electric players on the other hand do tend to use the higher frets.
They are all supposed to have frets. Sometimes they fall out if the guitar is handled rough.
