Vacuum is used to remove crumbs and other specks from the floor. Vacuum is good to use before guests visit. If you have hose attachment, vacuum can be used to clean pet. Some pets don't mind vacuum, while others bark or run away. Vacuum is not recommend for small pets such as gerbil or fish! For lizard, is recommend using damp cloth.
