Depending on who made it 50-multiple thousands of USD
A 1895 Remington single barrel 12 gauge shotgun is worth between $200 and $2,000 depending on its condition. The actual value will vary greatly based on the specific model and the buyers interested.
Your gun was made in 1908.
If you have a basic grade model 19 shotgun? Then the value will be between 140-225 dollars. In your case with the shotgun being in good condition I will say between 175-200 dollars.
Mid year 1908.
If that is the complete serial number, it would have been made in 1908. It should have the safety in the front of the trigger guard. These early guns generally are in lesser condition and bring lesser money than guns from the 1950's and later. Around $350 in typical condition.
CS Shattuck was in operation from 1878 to 1908. I can't measure the bore from here, but it is probably a 12 gauge, but during that time range anything from 8 to 32 gauge is possible.
I can say that your Parker Bros.20gauge shotgun was made in the year 1908.What I would still need to answer your question whould be the grade(BHE,etc.)the overall condition of your shotgun, are the barrels Damascus(Black Powder),or nitro steel(smokeless powder),and the bore condition. Please include the amount of original finish on the metal, and wood. Are there any dents in the barrels? All this is important in giving you a accurate value to your shotgun.
well marlin introduced the marlin model 43 in 1922 so mabey when u figure out what you really have you could try another question My Marlin Model 43 12 gauge pump (Model number is stamped underneath, in front of the trigger guard) has Pat. 1908 on the barrel. There is also a patent date of 1922. Looks like Marlin did produce the Model 43 earlier than the 1922 date you have.
most of the ones that I've seen are in the $250-500 range, depending on the condition.
350
How did you get the 1908 date? I don't think Gillette started using the diamond on their razors until around 1914.
Around 500:)
