It would depend on which of five different varieties that were coined that year and also the condition. Even in bad condition the coin will be worth somewhere between 1,300 & 1,500 depending on the spot price of gold at the time. The 1908-S (minted in San Francisco with an "S" appearing above the date) is the most valuable of the $20. coins dated that year. Depending on the condition of the coin it will start around $2500. and go up from there.
The Walking Liberty design was used on half dollars 1916-1947 and "$1" bullion pieces starting the in the 1980s, but it never appeared on a double eagle. There is a St. Gaudens design featuring a standing image of Miss Liberty - OK, maybe a subtle distinction but crucial when identifying a coin.
The St Gaudens design was used from 1907 to 1933 and was brought back for modern bullion pieces, so please post a new question identifying which type of coin you have and its date.

It's a Liberty Head Nickel not a Barber. The Barber series don't have nickels. Retail value for 1908 nickels are $3.00-$5.00 in circulated condition.
