These sets are made by private companies who gold-plate normal quarters and sell them at significant markups. Sorry to pop your balloon, but there is very little interest in them on the secondary collectors' market and they rarely sell for as much as their original cost. You may be able to find some sets on eBay that would give you an idea of prices, but prepare to be disappointed when you compare asking prices to bids.

Why are compound interest bonds better than simple interest bonds?

Imagine you have 2 different types of bonds:Compound:Let's say bond value is £100 and you get 4% quarterly interest on this investment.Your bond value after one quarter will be:Bond Value=£100Interest Earned: 4%=£4Total Value=£104After 2nd quarter, the bond value would be:Opening Value from quarter 1=£104Interest Earned: 4%=£4.16Total Value=££108.16After 3rd quarter, the bond value would be:Opening Value from quarter 1=£108.16Interest Earned: 4%=£4.33Total Value=££112.49After 4th quarter(or after a year), the bond value would be:Opening Value from quarter 1=£112.49Interest Earned: 4%=£4.50Total Value=££116.99SimpleBond Value=£100Interest Earned=16%(because it's 4% per quarter and there are 4 quarters in a year)=£16Total Bond Value=£116so bond value after a year is more under Compound than it is under Simple interest bond. The reason is because simple interest is calculated on one single figure while compound interest is calculated over the opening figure of month, quarter or year.So compound interest gives more interest income and hence it's better than simple interest bond.

Find one with either the high or low leaf error, and you can get a whole lot more. The 50 State Quarters Seriesran from 1999 until 2008, with special designs representing each state. Wisconsin's quarter came out in 2004; the reverse design features a cow, a wheel of cheese and a partially husked ear of corn lurking in the back 2. 1995 double die penny Value: $20 - $50 3. 1942-1945 silver nickel Value: 56 cents - $12.25 During World War II, the United States needed to save as much nickel as possible for military uses. Consequently, it started minting nickels made of 35% silver. Melting down pennies and nickels is a federal offense, but the coin might still fetch you enough for a decent lunch, if it's in good condition. 4. 1943 steel penny Value: 45 cents - $10 5. Ben Franklin half-dollar Value: $12 - $125 6. 1932-1964 silver quarter Value: $7 - $65 Between 1932 and 1964, quarters were 90% silver and 10% copper.
