The Iver Johnson Model 50 Sidewinder is a double action revolver designed to look like a classic single action. The action (trigger/hammer) looks and operates exactly like any other double action revolver. However, IJ (as did a couple of other manufacturers from the 50's through the 70's) dressed the basic double action frame and lockwork with features more closely related to single actions like the Colt 1873. Single action features include: faux stag grip shape and aesthetics, pinned (non-swing-out) cylinder, loading gate and integral ejector rod. Although the revolver can be fired in either mode, reloading the pistol follows the manual of arms for the single action genre (eject empties individually through the loading gate or completely remove the cylinder from the frame).
Redhawk is a double action revolver, as opposed to the single action Blackhawk.
Yes The model 10 is a 38 special revolver that may be cocked for single action and also operated in double action by trigger pull alone.

Well, yes and no. The traditional "Western" revolver, such as a Colt Peacemaker, was a single action. However, the Colt Lightning and the Thunderer were double action. High Standard also made revolvers that were similar in appearance to the Colt Peacemaker, but were double action. And there must be more. The Starr Double Action .44 black powder cap and ball revolver began production in the late 1850s.
All Ruger Blackhawks and Super Blackhawks are single-action revolvers. And google is free... all black hawks are single action, but the rugar red hawk is double action. hope this helps
Single Action requires the hammer to be cocked before pressing the trigger to fire the weapon. Double Action only requires you to press the trigger through its range of motion.
It depends on the make and model. Is it a double action or single action revolver?
is it double action or single action ???????? value depends on gun condition
No. Half cock is a feature of single action revolvers, most Rossis are double action.
A double action firearm requires you to pull back the hammer before you can fire it.
SA requires the hammer to be manually cocked for every shot. DA does not.
