All British 1886 Sovereigns were minted at either the Melbourne or Sydney Mints with the mintmarks "M" and "S" respectively. The "Crowned Shield" type Sovereign will have the mintmark below the wreath at the bottom of the reverse. There was no 1886 British Two Pound coin minted. During the reign of Queen Victoria, they were only minted in 1887 and 1893.
There were no Australian Shillings minted prior to 1910.
There was no British Crown minted from 1848 to 1886 inclusive.

Please check your coin again. 1886 half-eagles were only minted at Philadelphia and San Francisco. The Denver Mint opened in 1906 so a "D" mint mark wouldn't be possible. There's more information at the Related Question.
