1903 is a high mintage common date Indian Head cent. For an accurate assessment of value the coin needs to be seen and graded. Most coins of this type have seen heavy use and show a lot of wear. In general retail values for low grade coins are $1.00-$2.00, better grade are $3.00-$9.00 and coins showing almost no wear run from $20.00-$24.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer

Wheat Back cents did not begin production until August, 1909. Any 1903 penny would be an Indian Head cent.

It is called a "mini coin". They are manufactured as a novelty and have no numismatic {fancy word for coin collecting} value.
The Indian Head penny was not minted until 1859.
If your coin is smaller than a normal US cent (19 mm) it's not real. Several companies make miniature replicas. They have no value to coin collectors.
Wheat cents were struck from 1909 to 1958. If your coin is dated 1903 it's an Indian head cent.
Please check your coin again and post a new, separate question. The US never minted Buffalo Head cents. Buffalo nickels* were minted from 1913 to 1938. All 1903 cents are Indian Head cents. * These nickels are not called "buffalo head" coins because they show the entire buffalo.
All error coins need to be seen. So many different types of striking errors exist, unseen a value can't be given. Take it to a coin dealer for an idea of value.
