I have a "Paul Wahl" "Gun Traders Guide" 13 th Edition circa 1987 ; I do not find a 1905 Savage pistol ' but do find a Model 1910 32 cal. Semi Automatic and a Model 1917 ; With spur type hammer ! Both have the same specifications 32 cal etc ; $260 to $ 300 respectively ; now this is an OLD Guide i have ; you might look this up in a newer edition ! Inflation has either made these 10 to 100 times more expensive ; I had an American Arms 38 S&W Nickle Plated ; someone thought it to be worthy of Stealing ? Go Figure ; Took it right out of our Kitchen cabinet Top Shelf ; in 1974 or 75 ; Memory ? the guide showed it to be worth $140 back then ; $1400 to $14,000 is a toss up !.
