A British 1869 gold Half-Sovereign (QV), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to £600 GBP. If it has been circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything up to £275 GBP.
NOTE - The reverse of these coins is upside down to the obverse. This is normal.
The values quoted are the best possible for the best specimens in their grades, but may be significantly lower due to varying demand for the coin and the prevailing economic climate. A reputable coin dealer will be able to give a more accurate valuation based on inspection of the coin.
The Royal Mint did not produce a 1919 Half-Sovereign coin.
US or British? Post new question.
1919 is a common year for British pennies and the fact that its mounted in jewellery dramatically decreases its coin value. However, if it is 9K gold, the gold has value as scrap, what the exact value is though depends on the weight of the gold.
The British have never had a Lire or Lira coin. It may belong to one of several member countries of the British Empire that used the Lire or Lira at different times, such as Cyprus or Malta.
There is no such coin, King Edward VII died in 1910 and all 1919 British pennies show King George V on them.
Nothing in that range is classified as rare, but any British Penny in mint condition from those years would have a modest collector value to it.
In 1919 the British Monarch was George V.
