The 1934 series of $1 bills didn't include any "lettered" versions. The series letter, if any on a bill appears next to or below the date. You may be looking at a plate letter, part of the serial number, or some other security feature.

The 1934 series only ran one year. It was replaced the next year with a revised bill dated 1935; these DID include an F series as well as G and H.

Please check your bill again and post a new, separate question. There were no series letters on 1934-dated $1 bills because a new series was introduced the following year.
