There were several types of silver certificates printed in that series. Please post a new, separate question with the bill's denomination, date, and whether there's a small letter next to the date.

Also, check the color of the seal and serial numbers. if it has a green seal as opposed to a blue or yellow seal it's a Federal Reserve Note, not a silver certificate.
