Please don't assume that every old bill must be a silver certificate. The banner across the top of the bill's front design and the use of red ink both mark it as a United States Note, a very different form of currency from silver certificates.

Please check your bill again and post a new, separate question with its denomination, and what letter if any appears next to the date. You don't need to provide its serial number though.
