The coin doesn't exist. All 1969 nickels - in fact, ALL nickels except for "war nickels" minted from 1942 to 1945 have been struck in the same alloy of 25% nickel and 75% copper. In addition, proof coinage was suspended during WWII so no proof nickels containing any silver were ever minted.

That said, as of 08/2015 retail prices for a 1969 S proof US nickel range from $0.30 for a coin in the lowest collectible condition for a proof (PR60) to $31 for a coin in PR69. Note that specimens with a cameo finish can bring much more, however.

What is the value of a 2000 silver nickel?

If you found it in change your nickel is only worth face value. US nickels made from 1866 to mid-1942 and from 1946 to the present are made of a copper-nickel alloy, not silver. In fact, no circulating US coins have contained any silver since 1969.

The last circulating silver halves were dated 1969.If it has an S it's a proof coin and may be copper-nickel or 40% silver, but these coins weren't put into circulation. Check the edge to see if it's copper in color. There's more information at the Related Question.None of the bicentennial coins made for general circulation contain any silver or are worth more than face value. Only Proof and collectors coins sold from the US Mint are worth more.

What is the value of a 1969 silver US dime?

If there were one it would be a fabulous rarity, but all 1969 dimes were made out of copper-nickel and are only worth face value. The last silver dimes were struck in 1964. All circulation dimes after that have been made of copper-nickel. If your dime appears to be silver it's probably plated. That means it's an altered coin and is still only worth 10 cents.

Value of uncirculated circa 1969 silver dollar?

"Circa" means "about" or "around" so you need to be more specific. In particular, the U.S. didn't mint any silver dollars after 1935. New dollar coins weren't minted again until 1971. These are sometimes erroneously called "silver" dollars but they're made of copper-nickel or brass, and are only worth face value unless in proof or uncirculated condition.

What is the value of a 1969 US silver quarter?

All circulation-strike quarters dated 1965 and later are made of copper-nickel, not silver. There are no major varieties among 1969 quarters, so anything that you find in change will only be worth 25¢. The last year for silver quarters was 1964. Those are worth at least 0.18 times the current price of silver per troy ounce.
