Please take a closer look. The US hasn't made a Liberty Head half dollar since 1916, and in any case why would an American coin carry a picture of Britain's Queen Elizabeth??
You either have a fantasy piece, a trick coin made by joining halves of 2 genuine coins, or something that needs more complete identification.
The 1988 fifty cent piece featuring the Liberty head design on one side and Queen Elizabeth II on the other is a common circulating coin with no significant numismatic value. It is worth its face value of fifty cents unless it is in uncirculated or proof condition, in which case it may be worth slightly more to a collector.
Lady Liberty. Half dollars 1916-47 are the "Walking Liberty" style.
Please see the attached link
The only US halves dated 1933 are Walking Liberty, not liberty head. They were all struck at the San Francisco Mint and in average condition are $20.00
1964 to date Kennedy, 1948 to 1963 Ben Franklin, 1796 to 1947 Miss Liberty.
The U.S. suspended minting of gold coins in 1933. There were no new pieces issued until the 1980s.
Hmmmm. This is a trick question, huh. The two US coins that total fifty-five cents are a fifty-cent piece and a five-cent piece. The fifty-cent piece is the one that is not a nickel.
Piece....50 cent piece!
50 pennies or fifty cents are in a fifty cent piece or a half dollar.
7 sides on a fifty pence coin
About $2.00
Yes, it is only worth face value.
50 cents.
