If you got it in change it's only worth face value. A nice uncirculated one might retail for $3 but a dealer will only pay face value or maybe $2.25 if you're fortunate.
In general, any U.S. bill found in circulation with a date later than the early 1970s will be worth face value. You should be able to find plenty of bills dated 2000 or later in change.

That L indicates a Federal Reserve bank branch. The series 2003 $2 bill is worth $2.

Please check your bill again. All $100 bills printed from 1969 to 2009 had green ink. In any case a 2003 A bill is too new to have any extra value.
