The value will depend on the condition of the vehicle, the total mileage and the geographical location. On these sites you can find three different prices that relate to the condition of the vehicle for each price.

You can also research the Vehicle Identification Number -- VIN usually located on the dash below the windshield -- on these sites for the history of that specific car. If you are buying a used car it's not a bad idea to take it to a mechanic and have it checked out first. One might also look up any recalls that apply to the vehicle before hand.
