100-500 USD
about $250 in clean condition
remington model 512 value, as with all items, depends on condition. how good in the finish, wood, bore. Any rust/pitts. between $75 - $100 if good
Most remington model 742 woodmasters are selling in the gun shops for between 275-350 dollars.
75-300 USD or so
Depends on the stock, is it walnut, red wood, synthetic. Used its about $250-400.
400 dollar range
usually the stock is behind and the forearm is in front of the receiver.
it has a wood stock with a small chip shotgun is in fair condition
We'll use a Remington Model 742 for an example. The A, B and C designate the grade of wood on the rifle. The "A" refers to standard grade wood The "B" refers to the "basket weave" style of wood Remington used, or next fancier style. The "C" refers to the "custom wood" stocks as put out by Remington's Custom Shop.
$450 to $800 depending on a condition, scope, stock (synth or wood), ADL or BDL. Mountain carbine and etc. Still in production since almost 1960.
This all comes down to one thing......condition how well was the gun maintained. does it all any scratches in the stock? is the blueing wearing on it? also wood stock or synthetic stock? I will say for an average model 7600 in with wooden stock and slide. just a bare gun your going to be looking at right around 275-325. with some add ons the price will be right around 375
The 81 is a improved version of the 8.Insightful... ;)It's mostly cosmetic, pistol grip stock, and stock/fore-stock are beefed up. (more wood). They also added the .300 Savage and dropped the .25 Remington (although I'm not sure initially)Yes, in the Model 81 the .300 Savage was added and the .25 Remington chambering was dropped when those barrels ran out. Model 8 and model 81 barrels are interchangeable, as are many parts. There are an estimate of about 10 .25 Remington model 81s produced. They might have made a couple more? Either way, .25 Remington chambered model 81 Woodsmasters are collector's items!Model 81 production years: 1936-1950Total production: Approximately 55,581Model 8 production years: 1906-1936Total production: Approximately 80,600
