There might be some drawbacks, however. But don't worry...the best thing about having good old MINOLTA AF lenses is that they WILL fit a SONY ALPHA DLSR body. It's up to you to play with the combination of lenses and camera bodies to see what ANTIQUE (Minolta lens) you can still use with a SUPER NEW (Sony Alpha) camera. That's where most of the fun of photography is.
