What is the value of a Romanian SKS rifle?

Going to depend on a few variables. If it is actually a Russian-made SKS, such as Tula Arsenal, and not a Chinese or other country's copy; if it has importer marks (such as CAI for Century Arms); if all the serial numbers match; and condition. I have purchased a number of SKS rifles, but not a Romanian yet so my experience is somewhat limited.

That said, there is one locally in nice shape for $250, and another on an auction site with a "buy it now" of $269 + shipping and FFL fee, which no one has jumped at yet.

I would guess that $250 is a good to average price, and that the one for $269 would sell quickly if not for the extra $80 that shipping & FFL fee would require.

Chinese variants are selling for between $200 and $250 in most cases, and the Romanian is more of a rarity and better build in some respects (milled parts). For that reason, I would expect they would sell for more than the Chinese on average.
