Savage has made a whole series of combination guns, almost all of which have been designated as a Model 24, followed by a letter that designates it's variation. I have never seen an "E," but the .22 by .410 was the standard chambering. Only the 24B-DL and the 24MS show a book value over $350 for a gun in 100% condition. Most are less.
The Savage model 440 over/under 12 gauge shotgun will range in price from 250-400 dollars depending on overall condition. These shotguns were made from 1968-1972.
