It's worth a dollar. Tens of billions of them were printed and you should still find a lot of them in circulation.

If you got it in change it's only worth face value. A nice uncirculated one might retail for $3 but a dealer will only pay face value or maybe $2.25 if you're fortunate.

In general, any U.S. bill found in circulation with a date later than the early 1970s will be worth face value. You should be able to find plenty of bills dated 2000 or later in change.
