The dual dates indicate that your coin is a commemorative issued to mark the centennial of the Statue of Liberty. All were sold in special collectors' sets in either uncirculated or proof condition so their values depend on their strike quality rather than wear.
As of 02/2013 retail values for the half-dollar range from $4 in MS60 (the lowest uncirculated grade) to $20 in MS69, the highest grade you'd be likely to encounter in most shops. A few top-end (MS70) strikes are known and sell for many times those amounts.
Values for Statue of Liberty commemorative $1 coins range $24 to $135, again depending on quality.
$5 gold commemoratives range from $450 to $575.
The word LIBERTY only tells us that the coin is from the United States. Please post a new, separate question with the coin's denomination.

The Liberty head design was used on over several different coins in 1878. Please post a new question with the coin's denomination, with the wording "What is the value of an 1878 US (coin denomination)?" e.g. What is the value of an 1878 US silver dollar? or What is the value of an 1878 US 10 dollar gold piece.
August 13, 2009 The only silver coin produced by the US Mint in 1799 was the silver dollar. Although it had no denomination on it, the word "LIBERTY" was on the obverse side of the coin. If your coin has no "Liberty", then it is worn so much the word has been rubbed off or it is not a US coin. If it is worn badly then the value would probably be about $600. If it is not worn then, probably, it is not a US coin.
