My grandfather has the 26" and the 20", I have a friend whose grandfather is a gunsmith and had him look them up he said that they are worth about $450 each. He said that Winchester made too many and they have too many that are still in mint condition, that is why the price never went up.
You must provide the serial number.
your Winchester model 1894 was made in 1909.As to the caliber it should be marked on the barrel of the rifle.(ie,30 wcf.is 30-30 caliber).32wcf is 32 Winchester special.38-55 is another possable caliber.
I don't think so and I checked thoroughly. Where did you get the number? The model number and caliber should be stamped right into the barrel of the gun.
You will have to contact Winchester.
Without a serial number, caliber, barrel length, type of action or model number , no way to come close to guessing
The Winchester 55 .22 caliber was not serialized.
Impossible to do with only the serial number. Provide a detailed description of all features, markings, caliber/gauge, barrel length, sights, etc..
No way to tell from the serial number. BTW, it was made in 1985. Caliber should be marked on the barrel. The 1892 was made in in .218 Bee, .25-20 WCF, .32-20 WCF, .38-40 WCF, and .44-40 WCF. (WCF stand for Winchester Center Fire).
Your Winchester buffalo bill commemorative was made in 1968.
