'Bull Head' shillings were issued between 1816 and 1820 during the last 4 years of George III's reign. The 1816 and 1817 are most common and can fetch £10 in ordinary circulated condition. In mint state they are worth about £100 each. 1817 with the error 'GEOE' on the legend is worth £500+ in top grade. The RRITT error coin is worth between £15 and £250. The 1818 is quite scarce with values from £25 to £350, 1819 and 1820 from £10 to £150. 1818 can have a 'high 8' in the date and the 9 can also be struck over an 8 - these are worth £30 - £300 depending on condition. 1820 also has the I in HONI struck over an S variant worth between £40 and £500.
