If you are unsure, it may be best to have it done by a professional watch technician.

To change the time on an Arkitekt Fossil watch, pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to the second position. Turn the crown until the correct time is displayed, then push it back in to set the time. Make sure to screw the crown back in tightly to maintain the watch's water resistance.
To change the battery in an Arkitekt Fossil watch, you will need to open the caseback using a case knife or a small screwdriver. Once the caseback is open, carefully remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Make sure to use a battery that is the correct size and type for your specific watch model. Finally, securely close the caseback to complete the battery replacement process. If you're unsure or uncomfortable doing this yourself, it's best to take your watch to a professional jeweler or watchmaker for assistance.
A person can take a Fossil watch band for resizing to a jeweler. The watch can also be sent back to Fossil.
I just went through the hassle of changing a couple of links out of my Fossil watch. There are different kinds of Fossil bands. If yours has arrows pointing in opposite directions then it is simple. The pin can be tapped out in either direction. Find a pin that is small enough to fit into the pin hole on the watch links. Then take a small hammer and tap them through. It is best to have the link hang over the edge of a piece of wood so you are tapping the pin out the other side and not into your work surface. I used a nail to start the pin moving then grab it with pliers and pull it out. Once you see the pin out of the link you will see how simple this is.
eBay would be the first place to look as it would most likely have new and used watches and usually there would be at least a few listings at a reasonable price. Other watch stores would be good places to look as well, but may be slightly pricier than eBay would.
