The user manual says use a screwdriver to release the clips, this is incorrect. Having just changed the bulb on my wife's S-Max I can advise that the stainless steel clips need to be pinched together using your fingers and the whole lens assembly including the clips pushes out through the body of tailgate. Good luck!
There are several models on the market. The difference is the materials on the clip. Some models can be found in almost every metal alloy you can desire all from stainless steel to titanium.

I am a true blonde....... the item that holds the brake pad is to tight. Did you change the rotors too? did you lube the sliders? if the caliper is sticking you may need to replace more parts Also if it has the stainless steel clips that the pads rest in there could be a rust build up or dirt under the clips, remove the clips and wirewheel under there, Also i grind or file the new pads slightly where they sit in the clips to make sure they move freely so you dont have any brake drag. Hope this is of some use.
