I have a 1974 sears 14 foot aluminum boat when I had a title search done it came back as a SEA Nymph it is actualy a 14 ft 3 inch.

Boats from different manufacturers are different. These are all 14 foot boats. A Sears Gamefisher comes in a 168 lbs. This is about as lite as they come. A welded John (squared off front, flat bottom) boat by Gizzley weighs 408 lbs. A riveted John boat by Grizzley weighs in a 113 lbs. A Tracker model weighs 480 lbs. A bass boat sold by this dealer weighs 683 lbs. You need to look at a specific boat and ask what that boats weighs.
The answer is relative. I have a 4 1/2 HP motor on my 12 foot aluminum boat. It gets me where I need to go.
about 400 pounds I just scrapped out an 18 foot sweetwater/godfrey pontoon boat. got 390 pounds of aluminum, at $0.40/pound yielded $156. 200 pounds was in the railings and deck braces, 190 in the actual pontoons. after disassembling, all most of the weight of the boat is in the plywood deck, the rest in the seats/upholstery
