As of 04/2014 retail values are in the $4 to $6 range for a circulated bill, and $18 or more for an uncirculated one.
The motto was added to $1 bills towards the end of the 1935 G series, so most bills from that date and letter combination don't have the motto. Those without the motto are only worth about half as much.
