A denomination is needed, post new question please
Circulated coins run from $60.00 to $400.00 depending on grade.
As with any collectible, a primary consideration in determining it
It's a Capped Bust Half dollar and average coins are valued at $50.00- $100.00
It depends on if it's a Capped Bust or Seated Liberty coin. Post new question.
A 1954 US half dollar has a bust of Ben Franklin on the obverse, not Miss Liberty. Franklin half's are common, if it shows any wear the value is just for the silver about $10.00.
Please post a new question after you look at the coin again. A U.S. silver dollar dated 1850 would be of the Seated Liberty series not a Bust type or Liberty head.
The bust is supposed to be liberty.
None were made.
Holy Cow! You have a rare Draped Bust Large Cent - if this coin was minted in 1801 and it is in good condition (G4), its value is: $75-$250.00
I am not aware of such a coin. The Draped Bust Half Dime was minted from 1796 - 1797; the Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle Half Dime was minted from 1800 - 1805; the Capped Bust Half Dime was minted from 1829 - 1837; and the Liberty Seated Half Dime was minted from 1837 - 1873.
The coin is a 1878 Morgan silver dollar and is common with values of $17.00-$31.00 in average circulated condition
1829 bust-type dimes are of about average rarity for that variety. Numismedia lists the following approximate retail values as of 03/2010: Very worn condition - $31 Moderately worn - $60 Slightly worn - $102 Almost no wear - $436 Uncirculated - $810 to $26,250 depending on quality
