It's unlikely that you have a genuine U.S. coin. 1836 half cents were only struck as proofs and currently retail for amounts in excess of $3000.
If it has the small word COPY worked into the design somewhere it's clearly a replica. Otherwise you should have your coin evaluated by a dealer or appraiser to determine whether it's genuine.
