If it is a red-seal United States Note, it should be authenticated by an expert dealer or appraiser. As of 01/2011 these bills sell for $175 to $600 in circulated condition and $1200 uncirculated.
However there were many privately-printed bills at that time so if yours isn't a US Note it would again have to be evaluated in person.
