If you have a Confederate bill with that date it's a fantasy item made as a gimmick or joke, or a really bad counterfeit.

Please check two books - a history of the Civil War and a dictionary#.

The Civil War ended in 1865, so there could not be a Confederate* dollar** bill dated 1898.
