"Island" is Icelandic for "Iceland" so "island krona" means "Iceland crown".

If the coin has a recent date it's only worth face value. At the end of 2008 the crown has been trading at less than one U.S. cent.

"Island" is Icelandic for "Iceland" so "island krona" means "Iceland crown". 2006 is far too new to have any collector value; as of early 2013 its exchange value is less than 1 US cent.

What is a 10kr Tiu Kronur Island 1996 worth?

I don't know but I have a tiu kronur island 2004 coin that I just found in my bedroom and it's hard to find a coin of this sort anywhere (except for Norway). So if you find one like I did, follow exactly what I write down on this page. You have 2 options 1. Go to your local bank and ask them to how much it's worth (in the amount of dollars, or cents). 2. Save it so after a long time you can sell it on EBAY or something. It'll be worth a lot by then.

Is a ring marked 10-14 kt hge worth anything?

The ring may be worth something to somebody, but it holds no gold value. the "10-14K" marking means 10K to 14K gold. The "HGE" marking mean "Heavy Gold Electroplate". So, altogether, the entire marking means the ring is plated with an alloy that is at least 10K, but no more than 14K, gold.Visit the link below to learn more about gold markings and silver markings.
