saw one on eBay for 70 bucks
I have the same one from my mom who was born in 1913, I am wondering the same thing...
One should try to find a model that is similar to the model in question: ie. Hohner MarineBand Key of C should be significantly close in price (if not the same) to that of a Hohner MarineBand Key of D, etc... Generally the model type and key are stamped on the metal of the harmonica. A good place to do a price check are internet musical catologs such as Muscian's Friend.
I have a herminica it's 1871 to 1881 and the it got a star in the middle. I look it up and it said it back From WWII. What do you think it's worth

what value would you put on a club model 1 meledon very old
It was made in Germany from 1958-1961. It is the top of the Hohner Tango Line. It is known for its rich triple musette tuning LMMM. The large bellows with 4/5 reeds makes it a wonderful instrument to own.
i just saw it in a pawn shop for around $160
Older Hohner melodicas tend to sell on eBay for between $15 and $30 plus shipping. The shipping is important because the value delivered seems to be somewhere between $30 and $50 (in 2013 USD - we all know how the Federal Reserve is printing money as fast as they can driving inflation...).
