Serial numbers on any bills are counters and a security feature. A specific serial number doesn't stand for anything except the order in which a particular bill was printed as part of a print run.

Please be more specific. Post a new question with the date, denomination, and condition of the bill. The serial number is not needed because this does not influence the value.

First, the value is determined by the series (date); you posted the serial number. Second, you typed the serial number incorrectly, because U.S. currency serial numbers begin with letter A through L. None begin with Q.

A star in a serial number on any U.S. banknote indicates that the original bill with that number was damaged, and the star note is the replacement.

Also, as you've seen in other postings, a bill's serial number almost never affects its value so that's not an identifying feature.

Depends on year and how low the serial number is.

Please post a new question with more information. A bill's serial number is normally not important in determining its value. The bill's condition, date, series letter (if any) and condition are what matter.

Yes there are 100 dollar bill with repeated serial number it has a little star in the end of the number

In 1967 Canada printed the dollar bill with no serial number on purpose and instead let the year 1967 substitute for the serial number. This means that your Canadian dollar bill is only worth its face value.

The serial number on a dollar bill and other currency refers to the note series, and the Federal Reserve bank that issued the note. The serial number is used to keep track of currency.

What is 4 1000 canadian dollar bills worth in serial number sequence

About $6 to $8. BTW, you don't need to post bills' serial numbers. They almost never affect a bill's value.

The percentage of a partial bill really has little to do with its value. Any bill is worth its face value if it contains a complete serial number and any part of the other serial number.

Depends on the year, series, serial number and condition, but common ones generally sell for anywhere from $1.50-$5 depending on condition.

This is the serial number. Each bill has a unique serial number that identifies it.

If the coin is packaged, it is probably a serial number. If the coin has a serial number, it may also have a certificate of authenticity.

The value is more dependent on the year (series) of the bill. The serial number by itself isn't enough information.

About $1.25 As you've seen from other questions, a bill's serial number is not needed to determine its value.

You can look up a two dollar bill, but if you mean specific as in serial number, you are the only one that possesses that specific two dollar bill with that certain serial number.

An Australian One Dollar note commencing with the serial number CF, would have been printed in 1976.
