The value of Smith & Wesson commemorative handguns, as with all commemorative guns, is basically determined by what the market, and interest, will produce. Most S&W collectors would rather pay a premium price on a scare vintage S&W (which holds it's resale value better) than pay the price for a commemorative which has a limited resale audience. Also with commemoratives, there is a higher standard for the condition of the gun, and an expectation that all of the original paperwork (manuals, waranty cards, etc) tools... basically everything that was shipped with ther gun from the factory, be present in order to get top dollar. So having said that... the price range is probably between $500 - 800, depending on condition and market conditions.
