there are 100 bills in any bank bundle and 1000 in a brick
about $20
$100, a bank will only give you face value, take it to a coin dealer.
1200.00
Face value if worn, up to about $140 (retail) if in very nice condition.
The "8894" plate number indicates your bill is actually a very common modern replica. Unfortunately it has no collector value but still makes an interesting conversation piece.
The "8894" serial number is a red flag. Regardless of denomination, nearly all Bank of the United States bills with that date and serial number are modern reproductions that have no value to collectors.
The Bank of United States $1000 note with serial number 8894 is one of the most copied notes in the world. A method of artificially creating parchment was discovered back in the early 1960s and one firm has produced millions of copies of this and other notes, especially Confederate money. The note has been widely used in advertising and for several years was used on the boxes that one firm shipped blank checks in to their customers. The original of this note is on normal paper, and is in existence -- your copy is worthless.
1000 dollars.. the chance are high that you bank note is a fake one also
The value varies on the rarity of the issuing bank and the condition. At least $1000 but one recently sold for $250,000.
If you got it from a bank or as change it's just a dollar.
Please check your bill again and post a new, separate question. The last $1000 silver certificates were dated 1891 and no federally-issued $1000 bills are dated 1913. If your bill was issued by a private bank, please include that bank's name in the new question.
The USA did issue $1000 Dollar notes, but has since discontinued them. Any notes handed in to a bank would be destroyed. Due to their rarity, they are worth far more to a collector than their face value (a 1934 example in fine condition is worth $1500).
