a 1971 Mark VI, around $6500 in today's market
I have one, Serial # 452655 made by Selmer 1965-1969. Same quality as a Bundy Really nice looking instrument plays well - Worth to me around $100.00
=Well first off, the H20799 is just the serial number on the clarinet. It isn't important on the value of the clarinet. Second, it depends on if it is wood or plastic.=
It's difficult to be accurate as Buescher were taken over by Selmer in this period but its around 1975-1980.
The serial number of a clarinet is generally located on the back of the upper joint.

About 1961 according to the Buescher Loyalist website. See the link for a complete list.
1976-1977.

The serial number of a clarinet is generally located on the back of the upper joint.
From what I've seen, Buescher uses only digits (not letters) in its serial numbers. Given that information, the best estimates for when this trumpet was manufactured is somewhere around 1914-1915 or 1927-1928.

you can usually find it on the bell and the barrel, sometimes even the ligature that came with it, of your clarinet.
