A Valve cover dons't have a tightening sequence, you probably mean the head. On my 93 Saturn sl1 the valve cover only had 2 screws with a gasket. To look up what the tightening sequence for the head would be you would have to look in a repair manuel. I could give you what mine is but if its wrong you could risk bending your head sense their not the same cars. Repair manuels you can usually pick up at autozone or checkers auto for a 10-20 bucks. Plus they would be very handy on putting the rest of the car back together if you have your head off.
AnswerYes a valve cover does have a tightinig sequence as well as a tourque spec, especially on a 16v motor with a aluminum cover. why do people answer questions when they don't know the answer is beyond me.On the valve cover
some models the pcv valve is in the valve cover on others the valve plugs into intake manifold and is connected to valve cover by hose
pass.side valve cover at the rear
Not sure about the 1989, but 1990-1993 it goes into the valve cover. Look for a hose running to the valve cover and the PCV valve should be what is at the end of it pushed into the valve cover.
its the hose coming off of the valve cover that's the egr valve
In the top of the valve cover , on the drivers side of the engine , near the rear of the valve cover , next to the firewall
Wrench tight
Replace the PCV Valve.
It is in the valve cover.
In the cylinder head (top part of motor under valve cover).
You pour into the valve cover.
Your Prizm may not have one. Check the valve cover or the intake valve cover on twin cam For a vacuum hose leading to the intake. The PCV should be installed in the cover with hose connected. If cover only has tubing permanently mounted then you vehicle has no PCV valve.
