Both are just hourly employees now since Lowes and Home Depot *ucked their employees and stopped paying commission. So, between minimum wage and whatever the hourly wage is per store. Good job lowes and Home Depot...way to *uck your employees again.

homedepot employeeHomedepot, like many other stores, has a variety of jobs. Most employees start out with minimum wage and try to work their way up the scale. Currenty federal minimum wage in now $7.35 an hour. Actually, I have yet to find a Home Depot or a home depot employee making minimum wage, I have worked there for three years and never have I made minimum wage and I've met plenty of employees and have never heard of one making minimum wage, home depot tends start pretty well for a retail job.Whatever you do....don't work for this place. They got caught stealing money out of my paycheck and promised to give me the money back several times. Monday I have to file theft charges on the CEO Frank Blake because they won't send a check. I've been promised a check for six months now...........I'm done playing with Home Depot. Now they get to buy their attorney a $1000 plane ticket, pay my court costs and the money they stole.........you wanna play games Home Depot..........let's play.
I'm a Home Depot MET Team member (Merchandising Execution Team) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here the hourly MET wage ranges from California minimum of $8.00/hr to about $13.00/hr max. Several members on our team are making the minimum. With 3 years previous experience as a full time Home Depot associate I'm only making $12.50/hr which is =barely= a living wage in the Bay Area. Most team members, even those with previous retail / reset experience make around $10.00 / hr. Needless to say, the MET Team has a rep for lowballing / underpaying it's people.
Yes ther are several companies that pay employees a living wage while working from home.
