Belgrade, as the rest of Serbia, has moderate climate without extreme weather conditions. Summers are moderately hot, winters moderately cold. There are no extreme storms, nor earthquakes. All in all, a pretty pleasant climate in my opinion.

north: plain called "Panonska nizija" central and south Serbia has a lot of mountains, and other plains are around the rivers... capital of Serbia (BELGRADE) is on the plain part of it...
Serbia was part of Yugoslavia until 1992 or 2006 (whatever you like) and gained it's independency in 2006.
serbia did NOT break off of montenegro. montenegro broke off of serbia because they treated us badly, like children. after the war we declared independence. i was born during the war it was the scarriest thing in my life
