It can honestly be anything.
I've lived here all my life, never moved and I've been in some Mays where it was in the 90s and no rain which is a pain. Some times it rains, which is a blessing (in moderation).
Some times it has been 80s so not as bad, but the jet stream comes over the mountains and causes a wind storm from 60 to even 80mph that lasts weeks.
There a even times when we have had back to back blizzards in May with the temp around 17 degrees.
I mean it's April 23rd right now and we are being hit by a "blizzard" and the temp is 23 where I'm at....and I have 20 inches of snow outside. It's a mixture of stuff and it changes year to year.
